Graduate Building Surveyor - London

OSM Chartered Surveyors are currently recruiting for a Graduate Building Surveyor. This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified individual to join our surveying team.

OSM is a firm where you can work alongside experienced Senior Surveyors to expand on your current skill set as well as gain specialist knowledge and experience that will count towards achieving your future RICS APC qualification.

 

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with us on a variety of projects ranging from a home extension to some of the largest development projects in the country.

 

Minimum Requirements Include:

  • Experience with drafting professional letters/emails, documents, and schedules.

  • Ability to effectively read and interpret planning drawings and construction drawings.

  • Ability to take schedules of condition and capture essential data on site, therefore a good eye-for-detail is of paramount importance. 

  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as assist Senior Surveyors.

  • Maintain effective working relationships with key people both internally and externally.

  • Be personable, approachable and professional when dealing with clients and other consultants alike.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A degree level Building Surveying qualification or equivalent.

  • At least 12 months Surveying office experience.

  • Minimum Level 1 knowledge and understanding of AutoCAD environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications; Word, Excel, Adobe, and Powerpoint.

Salary:

3D CAD Technician - London 

OSM Chartered Surveyors are currently recruiting for a 3D CAD Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified individual to assist our CAD team to generate 3D computer models, whilst also assisting the Surveyors in the data capture on site. 

 

OSM is a firm where you can apply your skills to some of the country’s most exciting and interesting development projects.

 

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with us on a variety of projects ranging from a home extension to some of the largest development projects in the country.

Minimum Requirements include:

  • Knowledge of the latest Autodesk software and presentation packages.

  • Experience with 3D CAD modelling

  • Experience in all aspects of Autodesk drawing packages including Revit.

  • Experience with working on own initiative as a CAD Technician and in conjunction with Surveyors

  • High level interpersonal skills with key people both internally and externally.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HNC or equivalent or Part 1 in Architecture.

  • Knowledge and understanding of 3D solid modelling in an AutoCAD environment.

  • Proficient with Microsoft applications; Word, Excel, Adobe, and Powerpoint.
